Heidi Levitt
Director/writer/producer
Heidi Levitt has cast films from the Academy Award-winning Best Picture,THE ARTIST to movies for acclaimed directors including Oliver Stone, Wayne Wang, Sally Potter,and Wim Wenders. She also executive produces films with directors she casts for. Recent credits include Victor Nunez's film RACHEL HENDRIX starring Lori Singer and Wayne Wang's COMING HOME AGAIN starring Justin Chon. She is a proud graduate of Barnard College and The American Film Institute where she is a senior lecturer in Directing. Heidi has won four Artios Awards for excellence in casting and is a member of the Casting Society of America and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Charlie Hess
LEADING MAN
Charlie Hess is an award-winning graphic designer and photo editor. He was the creative director of the Los Angeles City Magazine, Buzz Magazine, and the creative designer of UCLA Magazine for over twenty years, Charlie is an award-winning photo editor and illustrator who proudly worked in the Los Angeles community as designer and team leader with the non-profit Bigsunday.org. His work can be seen here and he continues to take pictures and create collage that can be seen on instagram @chessdesign.
Alex Gibney
Executive Producer
Alex Gibney was called “the most important documentarian of our time” by Esquire Magazine and has a signature cinematic style. His work has received an Academy Award, multiple Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, several Peabody Awards, the DuPont-Columbia Award, The Independent Spirit Award, The Writers Guild Award and Alex Gibney will be the Lifetime Achievement honorees at the 45th Annual News & Documentary Emmy® Awards in September 2024
Vanessa Perez

Vanessa Perez began her career at ICM. As a producer, she began working for CANANA Films, which was led by Pablo Cruz, Diego Luna, and Gael Garcia Bernal. Perez’ projects have been supported by TIFF, SFFILM, WIF, SUNDANCE, AND FILM INDEPENDENT
Toby Shimin
Supervising Editor
Toby Shimin edited numerous films that have premiered at Sundance, including, Peabody Award-winning HOW TO DANCE IN OHIO, A LEAP OF FAITH, MARTHA & ETHEL, MISS AMERICA, and EVERYTHING’S COOL. Her Sundance Audience Award-winning films include OUT OF THE PAST and THIS IS HOME, which was also nominated for an Emmy award in editing.
Lisa Rinzler
Cinematographer
Lisa Rinzler is an award-winning cinematographer who has shot feature films, and documentaries. Recent projects include Oscar-winning LEARNING TO SKATEBOARD IN A WAR ZONE (IF YOU’RE A GIRL) and the Sundance Audience award-winner THE INFILTRATORS.
Simeon Hutner
Editor
Simeon Hutner is a film editor, director, and producer with twenty-five years of film and television credits, including works shown at Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW, Telluride and many other film festivals, as well as on HBO, BBC, Bravo, A&E and PBS.
Daniel Meyer O’Keeffe
COMPOSER
Daniel Meyer O’Keeffe is a composer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. After studying composition at Bard College and McGill University with a focus on the European classical and avant garde tradition, he moved to Southern California to pursue experimental and film music. He has written music for feature and short films including documentary, horror, and drama and he is a member of the black metal band Agriculture. He lives with his wife, the painter Eloise Hess, and their beloved dog Shiloh.
